- 1 teaspoon dried chamomile flowers (or 1 chamomile tea bag)
- 2/3 cup boiling water (let sit for a few moments to avoid burning the tea)
- 1 ounce whiskey
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- fresh chamomile flowers, for serving
Steep the loose chamomile or tea bag in the water for about 10 minutes. Remove the chamomile and let cool completely.
Combine the tea, whiskey, honey, lemon juice and a few ice cubes in a shaker; shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. Strain the drink into low ball/rocks glasses over ice. Serve topped with a few fresh chamomile flowers.
Makes 1 cocktail.
