Blackberry-basil coconut pops

This may be one of my best recipes of the year. Even Joel, who is terrified of popsicles because of tooth sensitivity, tried one and agreed that it was fantastic. Basil-mint syrup is the secret to what makes these so spectacular, and straining out the seeds before freezing means you won’t have to whittle your popsicle stick into toothpicks.

Boozy Asian plum and cherry crisp

The fruit in my crisp ended up being a bit on the tart side. (Don’t worry, I added more sugar in this recipe to correct the problem.) My solution was to drizzle a spiral of honey on the plate before serving up the crisp. It was so pretty and definitely did the trick!

Honeyed Greek yogurt tart with strawberries

I used strawberries, but any berry would do. This recipe was surprisingly simple for such a gorgeous result. Sure, you have to take the time to drain the yogurt over night, but otherwise — not many ingredients or steps at all! This is a dessert to brag about, and it would be perfect for the Fourth of July.
